I have only heard them on youtube videos and you really can't get the full sense of the exhausts from that. I know the Roush is louder(which i like) and thats fine but i like the fact that i can get the GT500s with the ProCal tune, K&N filter(which i already have) and the performance motorcraft oil filter for $550.00 as a kit vs $469.99 for the Roush and then $308 for the ProCal. I really want to see if it worth an extra $220+ for the Roush! So i would like to meet up with some fellow Stangers who have either exhaust and hear them with my own two ears. Like maybe meet up at a mall or something. And sorry if this comes across as kinda psycho-ish. This STI had a big sticker that said "V8 killer" on the trunk, so I thought it'd be fun to show him what for since we were in Mexico. I kick drop into fourth, slowly get up to 80 to pull up next to him, and then match his speed, and he gave me the look and motions for me to slow down. We get to about 45, I'm in third gear, he honks and we take off. We're neck and neck all the way to the end of third gear, I go for the shift (love the pistol grip with the MGW shifter, btw, never miss a shift), dump the clutch, and start pulling away until the end of fourth when I let off and he does the ricer flyby. He was on the far left lane, does a 4 lane merge and takes the next exit. Probably too embarrassed after sporting the "V8 killer" sticker and getting beat. :lol: By the way, DAMN, those STIs are fast! I ran a plain WRX once and the STI is a huge difference in power.

I think he did miss his shift though, that might have been why I walked right past in fourth.

He really went above and beyond to assist us getting the most for our money and made the process painless. Most of the transaction was handled by phone so I didn't have to spend too much time away from my responsibilities. He even came out in the rain and helped me load the car on my trailer to transport it back to Cutler Bay. :coolgleamA:

The truck is really awsome too. It handles like a sports car and has a 288 HP V6 so it really moves also (although my GF will never use that much power-I'm glad its there!!!!) The truck has great features and is a pleasure to drive.

Here's the story...

Two days ago I bought a set of Nitto 285s from them. They ordered them and told me to come on Thursday to have them mounted. The tires get here, I go over to the shop, and it turns out they're not the right size, they received 275s instead of 285s. They tell me to come back on Friday and they'll have the right ones for me.

I show up this morning, Friday, to have my tires mounted. They take my car, ride the clutch all the way into the garage, and try to get it over the hydraulic lift thing on the floor. I warned them that my car is very low and that it won't go over. They insist it will. The bumper clears, barely. Then they hit either the headers or the front sway bar against the lift. They give up, and decide to lift it with a floor jack.

They move the car to another stall, riding the clutch and over-revving it to show off to their retarded garage buddies. Then they lift the ****ing car on the god damn pinch weld and completely ruin it. The car slips, and then they try again on the bottom part (forgot what it's called) of the car, basically some flat sheet metal which bent inwards from the weight. They change the tires, lose one of my wheel locks for a good ten minutes, and finally give me the keys back.

On the ride home, I notice that there's a loud noise coming from the front right of the car, about where the long tube headers connect to the x-pipe, so I'm assuming they knocked a hole in the headers or something because the exhaust is a LOT louder, and only on the right side.

So, to recap... There's a possible dent/hole on my exhaust, they burnt up a good portion of my clutch, wasted my time, and ruined the bottom of my car. Thanks, Tire Plus!
